Pick Your Own
apples, peaches, & flowers
Experience the joy of pick-your-own at our orchard, where you can hand-pick the finest apples, pears, and peaches straight from the tree. Stroll through lush rows of fruit-bearing trees and vibrant fields of zinnias and sunflowers from September to October, all while taking in the breathtaking fall scenery. Please note that apple availability varies throughout the picking season.

Walk up to the barn and grab yourself a half bushel, pick your own bag and take a tour of our orchard as you find the best apples to fill your bag with.

Come early or come late there will always be apples, pears and peaches to pick through the months of September and October even if you have to borrow a pole picker for hard-to-reach apples, pears and peaches.

Pre-pay $30.00 for a small bag (15 lbs of fruit) or $45.00 for a large bag (25 lbs of fruit).

CAMEO
Sweet and tart flavor
DESCRIPTION : A bright, red-striped apple with a creamy orange color; firm and crisp. It has a thin skin with a sweet/tart flavor, and makes a great fresh eating apple. You may even notice a hint of pear. APPROXIMATE RIPENING : October
Cortland
Sweet-tart, vinous flavor
DESCRIPTION : Fruit is a beautiful red, very large, with pure white flesh. Great for cooking, a true utility apple. APPROXIMATE RIPENING : October
Empire
Sweet and tart flavor
DESCRIPTION : Wonderful blend of sweet and tart, Juicy, Very crisp, creamy white flesh. Excellent for eating and salads. Good for sauces, baking, pies and freezing. APPROXIMATE RIPENING : Mid September
Mcintosh

Golden Delicious
Mild, sweet flavor
DESCRIPTION : Mild, sweet flavor. Juicy, Crisp, light yellow flesh. Excellent for eating, salads, and sauces. Good for pies, and baking. APPROXIMATE RIPENING : Mid October
Idared
Sweetly tart, Juicy
DESCRIPTION : If you love the old-fashioned goodness of baked apples, Idareds are excellent, as they hold their shape perfectly and look beautiful on the table. Sweetly tart, Juicy. Firm, pale, yellow-green flesh, sometimes tinted rosy pink. APPROXIMATE RIPENING : October
Red Delicious
Slightly tart
DESCRIPTION : These popular mildly sweet apples are grown across the country, but only our Red Delicious have the slight tartness so characteristic of apples from New York. APPROXIMATE RIPENING : Mid October
Jonamac
Touch-of-honey taste
DESCRIPTION : A cross between Jonathan and McIntosh apples, Jonamac is closer to a McIntosh in terms of flavor, just a bit sweeter. Many people love the touch-of-honey taste of a Jonamac, a great eating apple. APPROXIMATE RIPENING : September
Crispin
Sweet and juicy
DESCRIPTION : Bite into a Crispin for a great crunch and mouthful of sweet juice. The original name for this exceptional apple was Mutsu, reflecting its Japanese heritage. It was renamed Crispin in the late ‘60s and has been gaining fans ever since.. APPROXIMATE RIPENING : Mid October
Winecrisp
Sweet, juicy and firm
DESCRIPTION : Great flavor with deep-red skin it is everything you want in a dessert apple — sweet, juicy and firm. Also great for baking. APPROXIMATE RIPENING : Late October
Gala
Mildly sweet
DESCRIPTION : A great choice for snacking, Gala is a variety developed in New Zealand. It’s got the mild flavor that “picky eaters” prefer, plus a striking bright yellow-red color that also makes it visually appealing. APPROXIMATE RIPENING : Mid September
